SteamPotVille is a must see AND and a must have.
I must admit, when I first saw Steve Ouch's post on Twitter about his book, all I thought I was doing was helping out a fellow entrepreneur by buying his children's book. Little did I know what a true TREASURE I would find in SteamPotVille.
I don't really know how to describe it without giving away it's unique expression. Suffice it to say it is clever, fanciful, artistic, intriguing, educational, heartwarming and yes, a little silly.
I really don't know who loves it more - my kids ~ Almost 3 and almost 11~ or me (44 and a kid at heart.)
You don't want to miss out on such a wonderful book for kids of ALL ages.
Go to Steve's Site and be sure to buy a SIGNED copy.

Their motto is * Be Aware * Be Alert * Be Safe.
Their question to you is "does a sexual offender live in your neighborhood"?
I would say it's probably pretty much a given that there are registered sex offenders living in or around your neighborhood, wouldn't you say? Have you ever thought about who they are and where they live? Have you ever tried to find this information out on your own? Have you ever wanted to? Would it even benefit you to know more about who is who and lives where? If you have answered yes to any or all of these questions, than I think I have a solution for you today.
I came across a company called National Alert Registry a few days ago that offers a free "generic" (no names, addresses or faces) search of registered sex offenders in any given zip code. I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. Much to my surprise, the search for my area (which is pretty rural) brought back results of 6 "generic" registered sex offenders living within my area.
Well, I guess my motherly instincts kicked in at that point, because I immediately paid the $10.00 to get names, addresses, crime
commited and pictures of these registered sex offenders living within my small
town, just to be safe. (By the way, the $10.00 includes 5 searches. So you can check on others areas like I did around where my mom, in laws and a few friends live.)
Obviously I am not going to go knocking on any of their doors, (and I wouldn't suggest that you do that either) but if there is anything I can do to protect my children (or myself for that matter) from potential danger or harm, I will do it. I believe having this information is one I can protect myself and my family, so to me this to be a very worth while service.
Besides the $10.00 search, the National Alert Registry also offers an ongoing service that costs $4.95 a month. With that they will alert you via email as to any changes that could affect you when the database is upated. It also provides for unlimited searches. The limited version allows for just 5.
I highly recommend the National Alert Registry because it is very inexpensive, clear cut and easy to use.

Would you like to discover some amazing and startling facts behind a crucial, all natural substance our bodies create yet declines dramatically as we age or by the effects of prescription drugs called “statins” which are used to lower cholesterol? This amazing substance is called Coenzyme Q10. Coenzyme Q10 may just be our most essential nutrient, but are we getting enough?

If you’re a parent you know the anticipation, and perhaps even the fears you felt before your first child was born. With technology as it is today, so much can now be discovered before hand. Fears can be laid to rest or plans can be made to accommodate complications. But it hasn’t always been that way.
This is a true story about a young man named Nick Vujicic (that’s pronounced voy-a-chich).
According to the world’s standards, Nick was born with a severe physical disability. But in his mind he is not disabled at all. In fact Nick says that to be disabled you would have to be unable to do the things you want or need to do. And as challenging as it has been for him over the years, he has managed to conquer nearly every aspect of his life regardless of way he looks to the rest of the world.
